At MOLO, teachers guide children in experiencing the joy of planting. The food they plant becomes the key ingredient in their classroom cooking lessons. This “from soil to table” concept deeply helps children understand the effort behind food production while fostering an appreciation for the gifts of nature.
In alignment with the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), children also participate in collecting food scraps after meals and turning them into compost. This hands-on activity not only teaches respect for the environment but also raises awareness of sustainable practices. MOLO further promotes environmental protection by using reusable tableware and cloth napkins, minimizing waste, and avoiding single-use products.
"The land is where our roots are. The children must be taught to feel and live in harmony with the Earth." —Maria Montessori
